‘The Climate Change Garden’ Teacher Training Programme
Developing productive growing spaces and supporting the ‘field to fork’ model in our schools
Carmarthenshire County Council’s Education Department has a designated officer within their School Improvement Team leading on Sustainability, Outdoor Learning and Global Citizenship. The Associate Education Support Advisor provides curriculum training and support for schools and coordinates a pupil led Climate Action Group. This forms part of the Local Authority’s tireless drive to enhance young people’s contributions to their communities and involvement in decision making.
