In December 2024, an event was held at Yr Egin, Carmarthen to celebrate the work of the food partnership across the year. The day was led by Adam Jones (Adam yn yr Ardd) and was full of interesting discussions, presentations and knowledge sharing about the food system across Carmarthenshire.
Augusta Lewis, Bwyd Sir Gâr Food Co-ordinator said:
‘Ffrwyth Ein Llafur was a great opportunity to bring together the community we have generated around the Food System Development Project this year- from growers and farmers, community organisations, teachers, civil servants, health professionals and national policy makers.
As well as celebrating our achievements across the three strands of the project, it was a great statement of intention, that we as a county are committed to building a sustainable, resilient and inclusive local food system through collaboration.’
