Community Food and Nutrition Skills Course – Level 2

This course, delivered by Bwyd Sir Gâr Food’s registered Public Health Dietitian, aims to equip participants with the nutrition knowledge and skills they need to promote evidence based, consistent food and nutrition messages to community groups they work with.

The course is free for those who work/volunteer in the community.

Face To Face: A total of 20 hours of informal teaching arranged to suit requirements, and up to 10 hours of learning at home. There are no exams or essays just worksheets to form a portfolio.

Online: A total of 10 hours of informal teaching online, and up to 20 hours of self directed learning at home. There are no exams or essays just worksheets to form a portfolio.

This course is accredited with Agored Cymru at level 2, and is worth 3 credits (comparable in complexity to GCSE grade A-C, NVQ2 and intermediate GNVQ).
